[London?]. [s.n.], [1768].
Single bifolium. 3pp, [1]. Docket title to verso of second leaf. Old horizontal and vertical folds. Several small holes and short tears to text - with some loss of sense, creased and a trifle dusty, pen-trials to verso.
A rare survival of an 'appendix' providing details regarding terriers (A land-roll or survey of lands, containing the quantity of acres, tenants’ names, and such like) produced in the Court of Chancery on 6 May 1765 in the cause ’Attorney General against Cholmley’ [sic], the Cholmley being John Cholmeley of Easton, Lincolnshire who died early in 1768; the Cholmeley referred to in the amended cause to be heard on 21 November 1768 is his son Montague Cholmeley (bap. 1743, d. 1843). The 'respondent' in this cause is the Attorney General, who was the appellant in the 1765 cause.
